Yes all of our courses are nationally recognised with the Australian Skills Quality Authority.
From 1 January 2015, all students will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to obtain their Qualification or Statement of Attainment from their Registered Training Organisation, when studying Nationally Recognised Training in Australia. You can find your USI or register for a USI by going to the following website: https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-usi
Yes, there is 76 hours, or 2 weeks, of work placement required to complete your course and gain your qualification. Work placement provides students with the opportunity to apply theory and skills they learned while studying in a professional workplace.
It is the student’s responsibility to find their own work placement. Diploma Academy Australia will assist by providing a letter to the potential employer, assisting with reviewing your resume and cover letter. The trainers are on hand to assist with any questions you have regarding finding and securing work placement.
After you have paid for your course, you will receive an email with all your logon details. You can follow the link or go onto Diploma Academy Australia’s webpage and logon there. If you have trouble, please phone or email for assistance.
When you log onto your dashboard for the first time you will have access to your orientation page. Please go through this page carefully as it has videos and links for you to get the most out of your study, including submitting and resubmitting assessments.
You will have 4 attempts at each assessment. After 4 attempts you will be required to pay to enroll into that unit again.
However, after you have been unsuccessful in 2 submissions, your trainer and assessor will contact you to discuss further and offer assistance in completing that unit.
We are very quick in getting students assessments marked as we understand how hard you have worked and how eager you are to get your results. We aim to have all assessments marked within 5 business days.

All certificate III course are 1 year in duration
If you do not complete your course in the specified time, you will have the opportunity to extend your course for 3 months at $250.00.
You are able to defer your course once for a period of 3 months only. This deferral will not cost you, however, you will not be able to work on any units or complete work placement during your deferral period.
You have signed on for self-paced online study. This means that you can take as much or as little time to complete your studies. You do not need to wait for units, once you have completed a unit the next one will be released for you to begin.
Your credit card details are not stored because you will pay for the course from your own bank account via BPay or direct debit. When paying by BPay you can use a credit card or your own bank account.
If a learner chooses to enter a payment plan with Diploma Academy Australia, they will be invoiced the initial non-refundable $200.00 administration fee which is payable prior to course commencement. The learner will then complete the recurring payment form and commence weekly recurring fees of $35pw for 34 weeks. Total amount payable is $1390.00
When a learner completes all course requirements, a qualification will not be granted until all outstanding fees have been paid.

We are required to issue your qualification within 30 days of all evidence, both theory and work placement being completed and marked as competent. We will however attempt to have all our administration details completed sooner and issue your qualification in a shorter time frame.
